It’s a pleasure to share with the forum a new result achieved by a patient through his hair transplant operation performed by Dr. Bruno Jacobovski at his clinic in Barcelona, BJ CLINIC. This particular case involves a well-known athlete, the footballer Martín Montoya, a first division player currently with Real Betis.
The patient’s goal was to reduce the hairline recession and cover the receding hairline with good density and a design tailored to his needs and aesthetic preferences. Dr. Jacobovski and the patient agreed on the design and approach, and below we can see the photos of his operation, from before the surgery to the current result 12 months after the procedure.
Dr. Jacobovski is the only doctor in Spain who manufactures surgical instruments for the hair transplant industry through his company BJ INSTRUMENTS. This includes the punches that the doctor uses in his operations, allowing him to optimize extractions and reduce follicle transection. Additionally, there are other advancements such as an exclusive device that allows him to constantly control the temperature at which the follicles are preserved during the transition phase between extraction and insertion. The temperature must be stable and constant at 4ºC for optimal follicle survival.
The patient was 29 years old at the time of his surgery, with a total of 2,253 grafts equivalent to 5,456 hairs.
